We give advice only under a signed engagement letter. We do not give legal or tax advice in jurisdictions where we are not qualified to do so; where needed, we coordinate local counsel and tax advisers.

Who we do not act for

• US citizens, US tax residents and US green card holders.
• Anyone subject to sanctions, or matters connected with a sanctioned country.
• Anyone whose matter needs advice from a lawyer or tax adviser in their home country, where that adviser has not been, and will not be, consulted.
• Anyone who cannot or will not explain the source of the funds involved.
• Matters whose purpose is to conceal ownership from a bank, a regulator or a tax authority.

Who provides the services

Services are provided by HPT Group Limited, Hong Kong, and, where stated, by licensed third-party providers.

Fees agreed in writing before work begins. Where a bank or provider pays us for an introduction, we tell you before the introduction is made.
